Old stereotypes die hard, and the image associated with Internet dating is probably still that of a nerd with glasses. It's not entirely unfounded. I, for example, am a nerd with glasses. On the other hand, they're making some pretty fashionable eyewear these days and just about everyone is using the Internet. Anyone who's been anywhere near Facebook knows there are a lot of beautiful women online, and whether you're a jock or a nerdy guy looking to meet beautiful women or beautiful women looking to meet something as specific as masculine Italian men, sex dating sites are a really popular place for people to meet.
Traditions are important. It might not always be in the forefront of your mind, but it's hard to understand yourself without knowing where you came from. It's equally hard for other people to understand you if they don't understand your background and the traditions and values that shaped your life from the beginning. You don't, of course, want to be overly obsessed with the past, but it's natural to value the form of life you've lived and to want it to continue. What's amazing to me is how few people actually understand this desire. My Italian friends are usually the only people who understand me when I talk about these things. As a 28 year old living in Chicago, I admit that I absolutely use text messaging to communicate with friends, family, and co-workers. For me, texting is great for sending and receiving short messages to and from people I already know. It’s perfect for corresponding with basic questions: where are you, what time are you picking me up, who is this weirdo that is talking to me, how did I get home last night? It’s also ideal for sharing funny moments that aren’t worthy of a full conversation; such as, “You will not believe that hot tranny mess I just saw on Belmont and Halsted.” Believe me; I have been swept up in this texting whirlwind. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered how much texting has slithered its way into the dating world. It seems that out of nowhere, text messaging has somehow become a dating norm. It got me thinking: when did text messaging take over for a good old fashioned relationship?
I recently dated a guy who we’ll call “Mr. Text,” who used text messaging as his primary form of communication. Mr. Text truly lived up to his name: he was aloof, brief, and hard to understand at times.
There are three kinds of kisses. First, there's the kiss you give your mom. The familial kiss, if you will. Then there's the kiss you give your friend, or even your lover, but just in greeting. You know, that, "Hi honey, I'm home," kiss. Lastly, there is French kissing. This is the kind of kissing that takes time, skill and patience. You can't just jump in head first, your tongue flailing about like the arms of a drowning man. No, you have to take your time, like a jeweler with a fine diamond. If you don't have someone to plant one of these passionate kisses on, you might want to check out some adult singles online.
Truthfully, if I had any talent for attracting rich women, I wouldn't be writing this blog. I'd either want to keep the secrets to myself or I'd be too busy drinking martinis all day while sitting on the deck of a yacht to even think of doing any work. That said, sometimes complementary personalities make the best relationships and there's certainly no harm in checking out a wealthy dating site.
There are a lot of problems with the Internet. It's getting hard to tell the difference between real content and shameless, thinly veiled advertising. It's becoming increasingly difficult to search for things, because keywords are constantly being appropriated. That said, it's still a great tool that's becoming increasingly integral to most of our daily lives. One great quality of online communication is that it can put people who wouldn't otherwise meet in contact with each other. Dating sites are a really good way to meet new people, and just about anyone can find their match. There are, for example, deaf dating sites where you can meet beautiful deaf ladies.
Lets face it, it's hard to find yourself a sexy beauty. It's obviously not because there aren't plenty of beautiful women around, and the problem might not even be having the nerve to approach someone. The real problem is that when it comes to strangers, there's really no way to tell who's looking and who isn't or what it is they actually want. If we could get everyone to wear tags saying whether they're single and looking, then life would be a lot easier. Until then, it might be easier to meet a sexy beauty on a sex dating site.
When you are matched with someone - what is one of the first things you look at? The picture, the description of themselves - the age, there interests?
Lets speak a moment about age. Everyone has an idea of how old/young they want there partner to be. Obviously when you get to see a profile that information is right there. So what do you do, if they are to old/to young, not what you where hoping for…
When you meet someone, is ther first thing you going to ask them is how old are they? Obviously not, so why make age such a big thing - who cares if they are a little older, younger or not what you where hoping for. Age should not be the priority.
