The Muslim Mistress Who Became A Wife

It may sound a little cold, but I feel that it's human nature that people will frequently see others in the same category or fulfilling the same function that they did when they first met them. Someone breaking this mould is always something that impresses me. Such was the case with my friend, we'll call him Eddie and his Muslim Mistress. Yes, Eddie was married and had a mistress on the side. He hadn't particularly been looking for Muslim singles, but rather searching for company on a Milwaukee dating site because that's where he lived at the time and they just hit it off.

My Beautiful Military Girl

When I was in high school I seriously thought about joining the army like my older brother. I thought about being a modern day hero who fights the bad guys, making the world a safer place for everyone with time to spare for some hot military dating with a beautiful military girl. I guess that's what happens when you grow up watching G.I. Joe. I'm beginning to think that cartoon show was clever propaganda to encourage young boys to enlist in the army when they grow up. I'd like to say I didn't join the military because I chose to help my country in other ways. The truth is I chickened out. The images on the television is far from the colorful animations on G.I. Joe.

Red Eyed Monster

I thought I had seen it all. During my years of on-again, off-again online dating, I felt as if I had earned an honorary phD in dating psychology (or should I say a purple heart?). The upfront-leech, the alcohol-pushing leech, mama’s boy, social odd-ball, bitter misogynist, you name it, I’ve dated it. Albeit not for long.

“Tony” had seemed charming on the phone, and his Match.com profile seemed refreshingly honest. The photos were obviously scanned in, the quality of which wasn’t the best, but he had a full head of hair, warm smile, and an athletic physique. A sales manager at a high volume sales firm, he regaled me with stories of a quick ascension up the career ladder and remodeling his home no expenses spared. Having dated a career pothead in college for a year and a half whose idea of planning for the future meant having enough money left for the next stash, Tony impressed me thoroughly.

Another Jewish Holiday

As we are days away from Passover = no matter how religious, traditional, non-religious you are, most Jews around the world will gather with there family and celebrate in one way or another the freedom of the Jews.

This is also a time where so many single people will be sitting with there family - and realize that maybe it is time to start - or hope to find there potential partner in the coming year.

Maybe next year you will have that person with you - as you sit around the table. SO enjoy the celebrations and hopefully this year will bring you your life partner.

A Mature Guy Who Dates Every Night

I used to worry a lot about growing old. The prospect of spending my golden years sitting by my lonesome without any company has always been a big fear of mine. I no longer worry about it ever since a mature guy moved in to the apartment next door. I'm guessing he's in his late fifties or early sixties.
