Hooking Up In The Love Shack
Back in the 80's, there was a B52's song talking about the love shack being a place where people go and get together. If that song were re-written today, it would probably be about the world wide web and the millions of people looking for a potential mate and putting their dating personals online. These days, most people are no longer embarrassed to say that they have found love on the Internet. Aside from the many dating sites available, people have also found their significant others in various social networking sites. The internet is really one big place where you can virtually meet people from all over the world and find the perfect match for you.
One day I'm going to write a book. Maybe they'll make it into a movie, a road movie! It'll tell the story of a dating advice blogger heading out across America with the mission of using his romance ideas and 
The other day a friend of mine called me for advice. He had recently separated from his wife and taken a new job in Arizona. Inexperienced with the Tucson dating scene, he hit the bars. When that didn't work he decided to take the plunge and see who he could meet online. When nothing seemed to pan out and he was almost ready to give up, he called me.
